Can you imagine being thirteen hundred miles away from a home you’re building and not having the slightest worry about your contractor, or the quality of the work he’s doing? Riverbirch did that for us. Working with John Micalef was so easy. He never said no to the many changes we made during the construction process. He watched over the minutest details of the finish out, from the placement of light switches to plumbing details. His experience and knowledge of navigating through the Delray Beach and Delaire approval process made the job go smoothly. We loved working with John and we love living in the house he built us.

We built a home in Delaire with River Birch Construction, and found the entire experience to be positive and actually enjoyable. John Micallef is a true expert in the construction field and he guided us carefully through the entire process. His great ideas and problem-solving skills were invaluable. End result was a beautiful home that we thoroughly enjoy living in. Favorite room – Lanai – which was mostly John’s ideas.

Last year we wanted to modernize the outside of our home in addition to adding a new laundry room and kitchen extension. We called Riverbirch as we had heard of their excellent quality work. Not only did they do an outstanding job, but John and all his people were great to work with. They were respectful, courteous, detailed, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and neat. Construction is a long, often arduous process and having a crew of workers around every day, like the Riverbirch people, made it easier. John had great ideas, communicated well, and was available when we needed him. I would highly recommend Riverbirch.

River Birch Construction is renovating our home at Delaire this year. My parents bought the house in 1998 and John Micalef and his team made improvements to the house in 2000. My husband and I wanted to keep the house and of course, chose River Birch to do the renovation. As we have been unable to spend time in Florida since we started the renovation, we have been working virtually with John and our architect, Quinn Miklos. It has been a pleasure working with these two professionals. We have seen photos and videos and look forward to the completion after the new year.
